E-Club Program

Ages: 11 yr. old and up
Location: Community College of Beaver County (CCBC)
Pre-requisite: You must have participated in Biz Camp to join this program.

The Franklin Center's E-Club seeks to foster the development of student created businesses and link student entrepreneurs with successful adult mentors. After the success of Biz Camp and the Business Expo that followed, orientation of the mentoring program has begun focusing on business. With the help of Entrepreneuring Youth (E-Youth) and CCBC, our E-Club was created. The mentees mostly consist of students that participated in prior Biz Camps that want to continue their business education by learning new skills, computer programs, and hear from successful businesspeople of the community.

The objective of the E-Club is to match students with a committed adult mentor to aid in the development of their business education. Successful completion of this goal will help us meet our objectives:

  • Provide a business mentor to interested students

  • Foster the continuation of student business/entrepreneurship education
  • Provide networking opportunities to students
  • Potentially providing internship opportunities for students
  • Better understanding of business concepts, marketing, management, retail, sales and technology for students

    How to become involved:

  • Serving as a mentor

  • Sponsoring a student ($30 a student for full program)
  • Speaking at meeting
  • Providing food or drink for students
  • Providing an internship or job shadowing experience for students
