The Dollar Energy program helps low-income consumers who are facing termination of utilities. Help is also available if clients need to fill out forms for LIHEAP or CRISIS. The majority of clients are the elderly and young families with children. During visits for energy assistance, the Center assists clients with other needs including PACE, Senior Citizen Rent/Tax Rebates, insurance forms, poverty tax forms, financial forms, and job placement assistance. The goal is to help local residents begin on a pathway to self-sufficiency.
