The Franklin Center also houses an office for BC-SCORES (Beaver County's System of Care: Optimizing Resources, Education and Supports). BC-SCORES is a collaborative effort to develop a comprehensive system of care for adolescents (ages 10-21). BC-SCORES serves at-risk families whose youth are already involved with the juvenile justice system or have a co-occurring mental health/substance abuse disorder. BC-SCORES is also a partnership between Beaver County and the federal government as a forensic service pilot in the Co-Occuring State Incentive Grant (COSIG) for the treament of persons with co-occuring substance related and mental disorders.
