Our focus: The ACMF's current focus is to reduce violence and crime in Aliquippa and to raise academic performance among Aliquippa youth. This is accomplished through strategic engagement of ACMF members in community, civic, spiritual and familial life.
(V)isibility: We create a strong physical presence in our homes and in our community, promote positive male images, and model appropriate social behaviors.
(A)ccountability: We ensure the physical, emotional, financial, and spiritual well-being of our families and our community through work, education, engaged parenting, and balanced lifestyle.
(L)eadership: We value leadership. We empower men and fathers to assume leadership roles in the home and in the community through training, mentoring, experiences, and support.
(U)nwavering Commitment: We are committed to change. We foster win-win relationships with citizens, law enforcement, local and county government, schools, churches, human services agencies, and other stakeholders as committed partners in cultivating a safe, healthy, educated, and prosperous community.
(E)ngagement: We recognize our responsibility to be active participants in the rearing and educating of our biological and community children. We set clear moral, behavioral, and academic standards and establish healthy beliefs by fully engaging in familial and civic life.
(S)elf-motivation: We value the unique contribution of each member of our Council and accept individual and collective responsibility for the success of our endeavors. Each member demonstrates his passion for our cause by his willingness to share insight, contribute ideas, communicate openly and honestly, support the efforts of his fellow members, put service before self, persevere under self, persevere under adversity, and convey respect through a positive attitude.
